An AdSense Alternative for Blog Monetization – InfoLinks Earnings Threshold Lowered for PayPal Payments!

Infolinks is a really effective blog advertising program for some niche blog topics. On March 8, 2010, InfoLinks announced that it will be changing its payment thresholds.

InfoLinks Earnings Threshold Lowered for PayPal, Payoneer

InfoLinks has just announced that the payment threshold has been lowered from $100 to $50 for bloggers and website owners who use PayPal and Payoneer.

This is good news for niche bloggers who use InfoLinks and receive payment via PayPal or Payoneer (an alternative to PayPal), as it means more frequent payments, since the InfoLinks publisher’s account balance need only top $50 to be eligible for payment. If a blogger’s InfoLinks earnings fail to reach the $50 mark in a given month, the money will rollover into the following month.

InfoLinks Revenue Payout Threshold Increased for Bank Wire and Bank ACH Payments

For InfoLinks publishers who receive payments directly into their bank account via ACH payments or via bank wire transfer, the threshold has been increased to $400. This, according to InfoLinks, is due to the cost associated with this method of pay out for InfoLinks earnings.

Notably, these new InfoLinks payment thresholds go into effect immediately, meaning the March 2010 InfoLinks payments will reflect these new thresholds.

For InfoLinks publishers who earned more than $50 but less than $400 as of January 30, 2010, and want to receive a payment in March (issued at some point prior to March 15), you must ensure that your payment option is set to PayPal or Payoneer. To check the payment method setting on an InfoLinks account, log in, click the “My Account” tab and check the setting under “Payment Details.”

The following is InfoLinks’ official announcement on revenue threshold changes is as follows:

Starting March, Infolinks is proud to announce the industry’s lowest payment threshold of $50 to all publishers, using Payoneer and PayPal.

Due to the high processing fees involved with Bank wires and regular ACH – the payment threshold for payments via Bank Wire or regular ACH will be increased to $400. If your monthly earnings are less than that threshold at the end of the month, these funds will be carried over to the next month…

InfoLinks provides in-text advertisements for blogs; the ads are links in the text of a blog. When a reader clicks on the in-text ad, the publisher earns money from InfoLinks.
